Gypsy Wind
Hailing from Pinellas County Florida, Gypsy Wind’s style can best be described as a blend of acoustic newgrass, bluegrass, folk, swing and jazz.
Like gypsies traveling on the wind, this versatile band’s sound carries its listeners across borders and through time. They are often described as a musical journey from the Kentucky bluegrass of Bill Monroe to the gypsy swing of Django Reinhardt to the Cosmic American music of Gram Parsons.
Working in a medium of acoustic instruments, Gypsy Wind embodies a new take on an old blend of jazz, swing, bluegrass and folk.
